This image of reflections from the windows of the Prudential Tower in Boston was taken from a helicopter. The ride was a wedding anniversary gift from our three daughters. I used a Nikon sD700 at 38 mm with a Nikkor 16-80mm lens. Because of the motion from the helicopter I choose a shutter speed of 1/1600 second. The aperture was ’/8 with an ISO = 1,000. Is cropped the image to exclude structures on the roof of the building. I used Lightroom Classic and Radiant Pnhot 2 for tweaking colors and contrast.

What a cool anniversary gift! To me, the abstractness in the reflection tells the story. Would you consider cropping the right side so that it matches the left in order to center the focus on the reflection? I really love this shot.... Posted: 11/04/2025 22:02:08
