About the Image(s)

This is a Mobile click of Paris Louvre Museum , Many a times even when I have my Sony A7R camera , I use my iPhone to click some images, for certain type of images I find mobile does a better job at capturing the frames.

In this image I wanted to get the foreground pyramid in perfect symmetry aligned with the background structure. I have also attached the original image of my mobile , which was clicked in vertical mode. However since here 4:3 aspect is required, I used the modern tool of AI inbuilt in Adobe photoshop , where using Generative fill , I used crop tool to expand my frame boundaries and the vacant parts of the image were filled by built AI of photoshop. It has done a fairly decent job or rather a very good job of matching the background building and extending it on either side of my originally captured image.

Since this is not a competition I was tempted to use AI tool , to complete my frame to suit the requirement of our website requirement.

Prasad,
It is amazing to me to see what can be done with AI tools - but unsettling as well. This is certainly an imposing image, and the cloud formations really emphasize that. I have to admit that knowing it was generated affects how I feel about it.   Posted: 04/13/2025 15:08:37

I love the symmetry of this image. You have done a nice job of expanding the image using AI in Photoshop. The only problem I see is the clouds - they don't look natural.
Prasad, you have done an excellent job of pre visualizing your image and then accomplishing it with the help of AI.

Your original image definitely shows that you accomplished your goal of aligning the symmetry. Very nicely done!
I also love the architecture of the building and would love to see more, so my curiosity is whetted.
I agree with the others that the clouds in the GenFill image look sharp and unnatural.
I see more and more text-to-image and other AI tools that purport to show a travel destination. Just downright wrong, in my opinion.   Posted: 04/17/2025 17:56:07
