Lake Superior has many moods, and the winter months can be unsettling sometimes. However, when the sun is shining and the ice starts to melt, it's kind of magical. I no longer have the specifics of this shot, but I'm interested in seeing what you think of it. Thanks!

Melting ice on the lake is always a harbinger of Spring! Great capture with very good dynamic range. I like the individual pieces of ice that are sharp making up the large hunk of ice. The color is spot on with no color casts in the ice. The focus on the ice and foreground is sharp fading to a blur in the background. Laurie, nice work! Posted: 03/20/2025 19:38:47
