About the Image(s)
Taken with my Canon R5. f/13, 1/5sec, ISO 100
I took this in my garage for safety sake!!
The light bulb was held up with Blu tack and placed onto a piece of black glass. It was hard to light the sparkler, get it into place and then press my remote shutter release! Could have used another hand!.
Other than tidying up the background of any stray sparks and making sure it was black this was mainly straight out of camera. I finished off with a keyline using a colour from the image.

Wow! Great creative shot - again!
The reflection is well done. The sparkles add so much to the image. The key line finishes the photo.   Posted: 10/01/2026 15:09:43

Well done. You hid the sparkler very well. I don't see it as the source of the sparks at all, making it seem that the light bulb is having a problem. One nit-pick, the reflection of the bulb is a little crooked, but not much. I like that you use the key lines in your shots also. In my photo club here the Twin Cities, they act like there is a Papal Bull against any type of framing. I'm not sure why they are so against it. But I like the photo.   Posted: 10/01/2026 21:40:19
Electrically wonderful! Each electric filament brings dynamic sparkle to the composition, creating an almost 3-D effect! Fantastic photograph!   Posted: 10/01/2026 22:32:27
