Wow, this is an elegant and inventive fine art image that feels both simultaneously scientific and deeply artistic. The inversion technique was a very creative decision that really transforms these seedheads. I like the short vase/pot used to hold the seedheads, it provides a strong architectural form at the base. The use of different heights of the flowers creates a strong composition.

A thought for a future time, maybe explore using all three of your ink pots with a single seedhead in each. It may create a compelling series for you. (This webpage does not like the word seedhead! It keeps changing it on me. Hopefully I caught them all.)

OK, I had to look up what Clematis seeds are, but you captured them well. Doing the inversion of the black and white and keeping it sharp really worked out well. Following the rule of odd numbers worked well also. I think having two of the seeds left and one right works even with a little lack of symmetry. Well Done.   Posted: 08/04/2026 00:35:44
