This is a photo of my daughter. I added the cloudy background
I did it in pastel first and then into black and white. Then I used contrast to make her stand out more. I don’t do black and white very often so I thought I would try it with this image.

I like the pastel image (particulary the scarf) but also think it was a good choice to try black and white as it works well.
I like the background you have made and glad it is not white as that would make the image a bit stark, in my opinion. She really stands out.

I initially liked the pastel version that you submitted, but I opened up both versions and looked at them side by side, and the black and white version is a sharper image, and I like that better. Good photo. Posted: 12/01/2025 20:05:54
