November 2025 - Taking in the view

About the Image(s)

I took this photograph with my Nikon Z5, f/7.1, 1/400s, ISO 100, 28mm. This is another panorama shot that I took at the Colorado National Monument Park. The only editing I did was to stitch the photos together in Light Room, crop, and a small (10%) HDR enhancement. The person on the left is a lifelong friend of mine, who now lives in Grand Junction Colorado, which is where the park is located. "

A great panorama of the mountain range. LR does a good job of stitching images together.
Not sure if it could have been possible but I think it would be better if we could see all of your friend instead of "cutting" him in half? The trees either side hold the image in. Well done.   Posted: 11/01/2025 15:14:11

Thanks Angela. I agree getting a little more of my friend would have been better, or if he was a little further to the right. I was a little locked in on trying to get as much of the canyon as possible. But thanks for the feedback.   Posted: 11/02/2025 13:48:32

Beautiful panorama. The clouds add interest. The trees frame the image nicely. Your friend gives scale to the landscape. Even without him, it would be a great image to hang on your wall.   Posted: 11/05/2025 01:43:21
