Nice photograph. I agree with Angela to take the dark clouds out, but you did a good job with left, right and bottom cropping. That helped focus on the house. Straightening the photo was also good, and I like the black and white version. That version fits well with the time the farmhouse was built. Good photo.   Posted: 07/07/2025 01:25:27
Nice photo which works well in monotone. Cropping the photo at the top to just above the clouds puts more focus on the building.   Posted: 07/09/2025 23:03:15
Jennifer: The Grand Tetons have always been my favorite landscape. 50 years ago I shot a color photo of the Chapel with an Olympus film camera that still hangs in my office. (Needless to say I'm biased toward color.) I would suggest you crop down from the top to reduce the emphsis on the dark clouds and give importance to the mountains and the farmhouse.   Posted: 07/28/2025 20:12:12
Jennifer, this is a strong, moody capture. The B&W suits the historic feel, and your composition is well considered. Cropping the dark cloud, as others noted, helps center focus. Both versions have merit-well done.   Posted: 07/29/2025 00:07:01
