About the Image(s)
I took this photo several years ago in a public garden in Normandy, France. While I was always taught to “shoot in threes”, these near-perfect twins were too beautiful to pass up. In PP I put them on a black background.

Can understand why you thought these two roses were worth taking a photo of. They are beautiful.
The colours have come out really natural and I like their positioning. The black background makes them stand out.
Another time try a texture with colours taken from the flowers to see what that looks like. Might make the image look a bit softer? Only my opinion!!

I like the still life with the roses. The roses themselves are very sharp, and the colors are good. I don't think that you need a third rose either. These two are a really good match for each other and you have them set up well. I agree with Angela also, a little more texture would be good. Good photo!   Posted: 05/06/2025 01:18:36
Beautiful flowers and you have shown them off very well. One appears so much smaller which is what it would look like in nature. The dark background shows them off very well and provides good contrast. Well done.   Posted: 05/06/2025 02:48:59
