About the Image(s)
For years, the Rock of Gibraltar was just a name??”an iconic landmark I'd only heard about in stories and travel shows. I never imagined I would witness it in person.
That changed during a recent transatlantic cruise from Florida to Barcelona. As our ship neared the Strait, the legendary Rock emerged from the mist like a sentinel between continents. I was awe-struck by its sheer presence??”majestic, immovable, timeless.
This moment, fleeting yet profound, was captured with an iPhone 13 Pro using its native editing tools. A memory etched not only in pixels but in wonder.

The Rock is certainly a sight to see and visit. Went there from Morroco years ago.
Good composition but I feel it has a blue cast to it. I took a copy into PS and used levels to select a mid tone off the rock and also took back some of the deep blue of the sea.

Good shot of the Rock of Gibraltar. I like how you were able to capture the whole rock, if that is the right way to say it. What I mean is that normally you don't see the lower portion to the left. It does seem very blue, however. But I don't think there is much to change. Maybe bring out the white a little in the clouds and the Rock and crop out a little of the ocean. Good photo.   Posted: 04/10/2025 00:08:04
Good photo of the Rock of Gibraltar. I have been there in 2020 and is an amazing place to visit if you get the chance but seeing it from your viewpoint is very interesting. It may have been better with a little less water and a bit more white in the clouds to give it some contrast. Very nice.   Posted: 04/11/2025 02:32:42
