He looks a jolly chap!!
I like that you have darkened the background to make him stand out more but it has made a black line around the subject? Not too sure if that was intentional?
I wonder whether a wider crop would have been better to actually show what he is doing? You can see something in the bottom left corner but not enough to make out what is happening.

Thank you, Angela! Great eye-you're right about the black outline; that wasn't intentional. I'll explore a wider crop to better showcase Omeil's process. Appreciate your thoughtful feedback-it helps shape the story even more clearly.   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:26:37

You captured the chef very well. He looks both happy and busy. I also like the darker background. With street photography others in the background can be distracting and by darkening the background you bring the focus to the chef. But I noticed the line around the chef also. I'm not sure how to fix it, but it is a little distracting. Good Shot!   Posted: 03/10/2025 18:30:04

Thank you so much! I'm glad the mood and focus came through. I agree-the darkened background helps, but that outline is something I'll definitely work on. Really appreciate your insight-it helps me grow with each shot!   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:27:32

The man's face is very clear and shows his expression really well.
Like the others, I like that you have turned the background into shades of blue. The line around him is distracting.
I wonder why the beige jacket of the man behind him is not blue as part of the background and why the chef's one ear is blue.   Posted: 03/13/2025 13:54:45

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I'm glad his expression came through clearly. Great catch on the jacket and ear-those editing quirks slipped past me. I'll revisit the blend to smooth out those details. Much appreciated!   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:29:03

This street scene must have been a difficult shot. You did a good job of dimming the background and surroundings while highlighting the vendor. However, where did the black line around your subject come from.

Thanks, Mark! It definitely was a challenge balancing light and motion. I think the black line likely came from the editing app's masking tool-still working on refining that. I appreciate you pointing it out, and I'll try to be more precise next time!   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:30:23

Thanks Angela! It actually is not a hat, it's a wrap around his hair. That wrap really adds personality, doesn't it? It was one of my favorite details to capture-it says so much about his style and spirit!   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:32:30

Great street photography! I like his expression! I, also, like what you've done with the background. The shades of blue compliment this scene. The black line around him and the other man is very odd and distracting. I wonder what caused that?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the scene and his expression-it was such a lively moment. That black line may be from the masking effect during editing. I'll definitely revisit it to smooth out those edges.   Posted: 03/30/2025 10:33:44
