About the Image(s)
I started with a Hibiscus photo and then played with a reflection app. There are many settings to play with, and I finally decided on this. I did both a color and a B&W version. I think the B&W version has a surreal look to it. I’m not sure which I like better, but I think the B&W!
This was a fun experiment and I need to explore more options in it.

A lovely, well lit image of the Hibicsus flower. There is a lot of detail captured in the image. Glad that you added to reflection as the original does look as if it is floating in the air.
The "water" ripples really add to the image and I also like the way the border has ripples as well. Like you I prefer the B&W version better as it really shows off all the texture and details of the flower.
What is the app you used for the ripples?

Thanks, Angela! The app is simply called "Reflect". I just started to explore the options.   Posted: 02/01/2025 17:24:41

I really liked what you did with this photograph. As you may have noticed, I like having reflections in my photographs, but I had not heard of this app. I like all three versions, but the black and white the best. I do like how you have a real deep black background on the original, and then adding the ripples was a real good touch. The detail of the flower really shows well in the black and white version. No improvements to suggest, Great Photo.   Posted: 02/05/2025 01:18:55
