About the Image(s)
I captured this photo this summer visiting friends in Big Sky Montana. The photo is of Lone Peak, one of the highest peaks in the US. The entire peak is covered with snow in the winter, and you can take a tram up to the top to ski, if you dare. I took this with my Nikon Z5. F/7.1, 1/400 of a second, ISO 320 at 10:28 AM. It took about an hour and a half to hike to the spot where I took the photo. For edits, I cropped a little, dehaze on the sky, and I removed a house that was in the middle of the forest in the center of the photo. I thought the house was distracting, so I took it out.'

What a glorious view!! You can see for miles and well worth the trek you had to get there.
The rock on the right third looks like an Otter or Meercat standing up admiring the view!! Your post processing has worked well and except perhaps lightening the FG rocks a tad there is nothing I would change.
Well done.   Posted: 01/05/2025 16:31:14

Beautiful scene and well worth the hike. You did not have to do much to the original but what you did was good. You could have it printed and put on your wall.   Posted: 01/11/2025 16:00:06
