About the Image(s)
Taken in June 2024 in Alaska. Using Nikon Z9 with a 600mm lens f6.3, iso 1250, 1/4000th of a second. The eagles were afraid of the gulls, but would wait anxiously and then go in to swoop the cleaned fish from the fishermen. I used Lightroom and increased exposure, increased contrast, lowered highlights, increased shadows and whites, lowered blacks, added some vibrance, texture, and clarity.

Such beautiful creatures. The prize doesn't look very appetising!!
A really great capture and your post processing has really made the eagle stand out. Lovely and sharp in all the right places. Something I would love to see.
Only slight niggle is I would like to see a bit more room in front of the bird for it to move into?

Great image. Great timing on the shot. I really liked the editing on the eagle, you really brought out the detail to show what stunning birds eagles are. I think the gull that is out of focus in the water is distracting, but I'm not sure what you can do about that. I liked leaving in some of the gulls, because it adds to the story, showing the birds that lost out on dinner. Great shot.   Posted: 01/07/2025 00:07:51

What a great improvement from the original. It really shows off this beautiful bird.
Tom's suggested crop is good but it would not match the title. Could you perhaps make the front two gulls a little sharper? It does tell a good story
