About the Image(s)
These were three lilies that were past their best but I thought I could make an interesting image from them. The flowers were all taken lying on a black card with natural light from a window. I made a new document and using guides I separated in into a tryptych style with white borders. The lilies were then placed into the document. Using levels I made sure the BG was black and upped the red of the flowers. There was a lot of cyan in the stems which I de-saturated slightly. The image was then flattened and sharpened using high pass.

You did a nice job of making the flowers that were past their prime into a nice art piece.
I like triptych images. The red and green really stand out against the black background.   Posted: 01/02/2025 17:26:52

Your triptych images are very interesting and I agree with Rose you made a nice art piece out of them. Your composition makes my brain think these are standing up which adds to the interest!   Posted: 01/05/2025 00:01:18

Great job of pulling out the detail of the lilies on the black background. I would not have guessed that these were taken with natural light. I don't know much about tryptych, so I had to look it up. But it is a good way to display the lilies. Not photo!   Posted: 01/07/2025 01:19:07
