About the Image(s)
Early spring morning and I love backlight with dew. Setup on tripod on blue tarp, needed to get low and sun did its job. ISO 250,F11,1/200 sec. I included original if you wanted to experiment with creating a mirror image. Enjoy/

Bob a creative solution as always. The resulting image looks like sugar crystals on the flower which seems to have morphed into an interesting insect. The green offset the colourful flower well. Fun - keep it up.   Posted: 09/06/2023 17:04:21
Thanks Kathryn. I just try to create something different for myself and share with others so they might create some images for themselves and from witch I can learn more myself.   Posted: 09/12/2023 21:10:13
Or a really ticked off bird. You took very little and turned it into something. Of course it's the symmetry that makes it, but the colors are gorgeous in the background nicely subdued. Post processing at its best.   Posted: 09/12/2023 18:02:49
Thanks Rich, Yes, I tend to push the limits.   Posted: 09/12/2023 21:07:31
This is an interesting photo. I think the mirroring transforms the image in an interesting way. It is very engaging. Very well done.   Posted: 09/13/2023 22:47:26
Thanks Kamal for your animation idea and comments   Posted: 09/16/2023 14:48:04
Bob, this is a very nice and balanced abstract image of a bearded iris. I especially like how the dew has been transformed into icicles and has shaped the image. Nicely cropped.   Posted: 09/15/2023 05:25:53
Thank you Nadia.   Posted: 09/16/2023 14:46:29
While very creative, and well done, for me there is a kind of dissonance. It's not a flower, nor is it an insect. Kind of a flower monster. Which leaves me (if only me!) uncomfortable.   Posted: 09/17/2023 17:52:14
Thanks Doug for your kind words and disagreement on whether my creation is a flower. IT IS! We both are using similar subjects (flowers) and software but our end results come out differently. Not an issue for me and I doubt it's a real issue for you. I realize that not everyone will enjoy my images and that's perfectly fine, and hopefully you realize not everyone loves all of your images. I learn from all images presented.   Posted: 09/17/2023 20:38:01
