About the Image(s)

I continue to full around with creating mandalas from flowers. I tried to do one that was visually simpler than the last one. This image is based on a rose mallow that I manipulated using the polar filter in Affinity Photo. From there I went through the same exercise as I described last time by stacking multiple images on top of each other but each angled at 15 degrees from the first, and so on. Once rasterized I increased vibrance a bit and cropped, but that’s about it. For me, they’re fun to look at and a pain to make.

Rich, it is very nice to look at and it must be fun to make, otherwise you wouldn't do them. I also like the color palette and the composition. Well Done. Don't try to explain how to me as my slide rule and Atari are missing the degree edit switch. Thanks fr sharing.   Posted: 07/09/2026 02:00:28

Fabulous. Wish I could even follow how you did it. Next life.   Posted: 07/12/2026 18:20:40
