About the Image(s)
I cropped the original, did some changes to the basic development and then added a vignette.

Marti I love the closeup details of the Asian Lily flowers. By shooting down you were able to get everything sharp. I have to disagree with the vignettes in the corners. I've heard multiple times that the vignette should not be noticeable and I think you went a bit too far with that idea. Just my opinion and others might not agree with me.

Thanks Bob - As I'm on my laptop now, I see the image as quite dark which also makes the vignette more prominent.   Posted: 02/18/2025 20:44:12
Hi Marti, I like the angle of this image and the colour is just lovely. It's my opinion that the stamen is the focal point in your image but I believe that it blends into the background petals of the flower and so doesn't stand out as it should. You might want to consider using curves in photoshop to lighten that part of the image. A lighter vignette might be a better option as I think the current version is too noticeable.   Posted: 02/15/2025 10:36:18
Thanks Nadia. Looking at the image on my laptop I see it as quite dark and the whole image doesn't look right to me. Oh well-next month. :)   Posted: 02/18/2025 20:46:25
