Interesting abstract. A little too "wild" for my eyes. :) I'm a little bothered by the sides being so out of focus and also they appear to be touching the border on both sides and perhaps the bottom.   Posted: 01/08/2025 04:55:39

Bob, well that's creative. Love the spiral effect and colors. I tend to agree with Marti about ends going past border. Maybe I would try erasing the two lobes at each end and concentrating on the spiral itself? Just a thought.   Posted: 01/09/2025 23:44:58

Thanks Rich, however, I'm not inclined to do that. I look at them leading your eyes into the center, and I also think of Abstracts straying from the traditional rules. In this case, the color, and overwhelming central focal point prevents the viewers eye from getting drawn to the outside. Thank you for you comments.   Posted: 01/10/2025 02:50:14

Hi Bob. Your creation is very vivid and eye catching. I would never have guessed that it was an image based upon leaves, but maybe from a fire dancer at a nighttime fair. I love the symmetry and the curves coming off the top and bottom on the middle swirl to create that symmetry. As an aside, I REALLY like your original mirror image of the sharp leaves against the blurry green background. With a little more post-processing on that one, it would be a truly stunning minimalist image.   Posted: 01/16/2025 01:40:41

Thanks Ingrid. As suggested, I labeled that mirror image as minimalism as that is a subject I always have to hunt extra for.   Posted: 01/16/2025 18:58:47

Interesting. Without the sides, successful, too. It's a lot of fun to make these things in PS.   Posted: 01/21/2025 18:00:24

Hi Bob, your image is creative, with strong and bold colours. Somehow, I don't mind the ends on both sides "touching" the frame as the image has a moving feel/element to it and those sides acts as a leading lines, moving the viewer from the left, focusing on the center and then moving out. Was that your intention? Anyway, I do like the black background as it makes the whole image stand out really well.   Posted: 01/22/2025 09:41:12
