Doug, no fair that you can stack images in camera! Very nice study of a leaf in decay. The colors are beautiful going from green to yellow and then the browns. For some reason I do read a bit of softness towards the center, but that could just be my screen. Very nice.   Posted: 12/07/2024 22:30:26

I agree with Rich. The colors are great. After reading his comment about the softness I went back to look and perhaps there is a little but it wasn't noticeable to me at first. Good job.   Posted: 01/08/2025 05:01:52

Doug, yes you do a fantastic job with these image stacks. I don't have an issue with the focus. I really like the depth of the veins. (mountain tops to the valleys). The colors are great but the textures are the beauty of the captures. Without sharp vein lines (mountain ridges to valleys) the color wouldn't be in discussion. It's ALL Texture in my point of view. Well done.   Posted: 01/09/2025 21:51:16

Hi Doug. Great Wabi Sabi image! I love the color transitions and the pattern and texture of the leave as it slowly decays. I also love the way the leaf leans slightly to the right in what I would call a jaunty angle. I'm also jealous of your camera's ability to focus stack. :)   Posted: 01/16/2025 02:06:46

Hi Doug, you have a talent in bringing out the beauty of a dying leaf. As a gardener, I throw all the dead leaves in the compost, I think I might give this a go. Well done   Posted: 01/22/2025 09:52:02
