About the Image(s)
The image was cropped in LR and then brought into PS where I used Select Subject first and then Inverse to work on the background. I used the bucket tool to fill the black background.

Marti, wow, amazing what can be done by lifting a blossom out of an image. The rose itself is beautiful and I don't know how you got the detail in the petals, but it's terrific. Well done.   Posted: 11/10/2024 22:15:59

A beautiful Rose that followed you home and gave you a beautiful image. A very nice job making a dark background using the inverse selection. I do like the texture that looks to be in/on the original image. No suggestions, all is beautiful.   Posted: 11/11/2024 00:55:57

Hi Marti. That really is a beautiful rose and your crop and background treatment really the bloom show off for the viewer. I love the darker red edges and the texture that you have amplified. My only suggestion would be to remove the two or three blemishes at 6,7, and 2 o'clock.   Posted: 11/19/2024 18:41:36

Hi Marti,
Greetings my friend.
A lovely thing you did to create the image of the single rose with the appropriate back ground. The creativity , the sharpness and the presentations are complementing each other. An amazing post processing and thank you for sharing.
Cheers.
