How I did it: This is a photo taken in a library with really interesting staircases. I just cropped in on an area where there were nice angles, textures, and lines. Taken with my iPhone and processed with its editing software, as I don’t have access to my usual programs. The long shot isn’t the same photo because I lost the original when I edited it (wasn’t thinking ahead), but I wanted to show you what the staircases looked like. Very cool newly opened library built to high “Green” standards.

My only suggestion would be to slightly lighten the really dark section of metal under the bottom railing that's going up at an angle. I feels really dark and I wonder if any type of detail might show if that were lightened? Maybe, maybe not! Posted: 08/04/2026 14:59:32

The geometry of this image is impressive. Good eye!
Years ago, I did something similar, but it was with the many angles of the roof of the Art Center in Tempe, AZ. That whole area is marvelous for such graphic images! If you get a chance to see it, I know you will like it!

A wonderful graphic image and the single toning works to concentrate on the shapes and textures. To me it has a feel of Escher about it. Posted: 08/19/2026 10:04:25
