About the Image(s)
This is just a simple collage of various leafy plants I’ve come across recently on my morning walks. I always enjoy studying the unique shapes and architecture of leaves. Some of the photos were already close-ups and some weren’t, so I tried to crop them in a way to make them seem similar in their display. I used On1 to add sharpness, glow and vignette filters. Lastly, I arranged them in a grid on a medium
gray background.

I love this collage Jan! This looks like a poster that could be hanging on a wall. I like how the four corners have related colors whereas the mostly green toned leaves are on the center panels going down and across the middle. The only thing that kind of catches my eye is the brown, dried grass behind the fern leaves on the center bottom. That seems a little different than the vibes given off by the other images. I'm not sure how easy it would be to remove or turn the background black, like the upper part of that image, but I think that could be an improvement.
Very well organized images and pleasing to look at. Nice job!

Good point Denise. If I use this image any further, I'll definitely fix that. Thanks!   Posted: 07/12/2026 20:40:45

Love it and it has been very well done. Glad you used a greyish colour in between the images as it doesn't compete with them as white would.   Posted: 07/09/2026 15:54:38
I like this collage Jan, and like your thoughtful arrangement of each image. It would look fabulous printed! I agree with Denise about minimising the dried grass behind the fern, if possible.   Posted: 07/13/2026 23:09:02
