About the Image(s)

As the blooming season is ending here, I captured this almost spent flower. I liked all of the textures and pop of color left on the petals. I played with the coloration of the background to see which I preferred and I'm torn. In the final image I changed the color temperature and tone to include some cooler and complementary colors (although dark). Original one has the original background colors.

Taken with my OM 1 mk II, 40-150mm lens at 106mm, f4, 1/160 sec. Shot outdoors in natural light, hand held.
