About the Image(s)

This image was the result of a class I took on creative editing using Photoshop. I'm trying to improve my knowledge of what's possible with that software and using layers and blend modes.

I originally made this portrait because of the unique nature of this tulips leaf. In Photoshop I selected a portion of the image and using free transform I flipped it to make a mirror image. I then added a texture to which I added a slight gaussian blur then used a multiply blend mode at 70% opacity. I felt it resulted in a really interesting image.
