On the initial image, I used adjustment layer Selective Color, NIK Color Efex Pro, and adjustment layer Brightness/Contrast to get the image with the proper color and contrast that I wanted to convey. I then saved the image. Yet, I did not care for the result as “fine art”, so I decided to use an Artistry app.
Once again, I chose the S3-Renaissance-LANDSCAPE.psd app. After embedding my saved image in the Renaissance template, I tweaked many of the Options to get just the effect I desired.
Finally, I stamped up and copied that finished Renaissance image and pasted it as a top layer over my Original 2 image. I wanted to bring some color back, so I applied a layer mask to the Renaissance layer and used a low opacity soft brush to paint black over the bike and some of the plants.

I really like your image composition and post processing decisions. This is lovely and reminds me of something that would be printed on a vintage card. The subdued colors are well done and is an improvement over original 3 in my opinion. Very nice!   Posted: 02/12/2025 18:34:54

I love this Georgianne. Such a perfect photo to use the treatments you did. Your final version, with hints of color added back in, is so striking. Beautifully nostalgic!   Posted: 02/12/2025 22:38:19

Hi everyone! Hope you noticed the free Photoshop Creativity Virtual Summit 2025 event, coming up for 4 days in March. This year's focus will be on creativity and fine art! See the schedule of sessions at https://www.pscreativitysummit.com/2025schedule
Georgianne, thank you for the info on the summit! It will be my first time to sign up. Have you attended it in the past, and did it help your photography? I love how you put the photos together and processed it. I hope you print it, as I think it will be a lovely one.   Posted: 02/20/2025 02:25:12

Yes, I have attended these again. However, you are only allowed about 24 hours to see them, after they are broadcast live. Most of the seeions are pretty good. If you want a longer time to keep and review them, you have to purchase the 4 days of tutorials. I believe the price is really cheap, at around $99. I could be wrong on these numbers, so check them out when you register. Choose your courses (for your own benefit) so you can put their time on your calendar. Have fun! Thanks for your comment on printing the picture. I had thought of that, but didn't do it. With your encouragement, I think I will do it! Thanks!   Posted: 02/20/2025 20:53:22
