About the Image(s)
Every year The Cleveland Museum of Art holds an atypical parade. No marching bands or Corvettes, only artistic costumes and floats made by the participants, and there are a lot of them. This mushroom lady walked over to the side of the street, close to where I was sitting, so I couldn’t resist.

A great piece of street photography Jay. People in participating in parades in costumes such as this fully expect to be photographed. Great angle and position of viewpoint with good connection between her and you. Well done. I hope you don't mind, but I had a little play with this one in PS. All I did was two slight global adjustments to the whole image, just a slight curves adjustment and then a small levels adjustment, just to lighten her face up a little.   Posted: 07/07/2026 11:18:11
