About the Image(s)
Back in the studio again this month. The Model is Daisy Devello, wearing a 1920's style outfit of her own making.
Technical Stuff: Canon EOS R5 + 24-105mm F4L Lens at 58mm, F8, 1/160s (flash sync speed), ISO100. Two flash units fitted with soft-boxes - Right main light, Left fill light.
Processing: Straightened things up and lightened the overall image in Lightroom. Then in Photoshop, smoothed out the skin (by reducing clarity and texture and painting over the face at low opacity with a light skin tone). Lightened the eyes, enhanced the catchlights, enlarged the pupils. Removed the anchor tatoo and added the cigarette holder and smoke. Adjusted the background colour to better match the dress, then applied some contrast and vignette adjustments using Nik Effects. About 40 Photoshop layers in total.
