About the Image(s)

This image was taken early in March this year while on a weeks break to our mid north coastal town of Forster. The location is known as The Tanks and is not a bad location for a sunrise shoot when the weather is good. This one was captured just as the sun cracked over the horizon, but not over the headland. I was aiming for and got some good long exposures with nice movement in the water, but as the sun began appearing the shutter speed got quicker, so I changed my aim to try and catch some waves breaking over the rockwall.
Details are: Nikon D810; Tamron 28-300 at 28mm; ISO 100; F16; 1/13 and tripod mounted.
