About the Image(s)
This is a 10-shot stacked image. I used LR, PS, and Topaz Studio to create the final version. I also did dodging and burning. I used an external light source. Images taken in August 2023 at my favorite spot, Skunk-Foster State Natural Area. Tech stuff: ISO 800, f/9, 1/40 sec., manual exposure, pattern metering, 90mm focal length.

A superb final image Trey, resulting from your concept with the 10 stacks through to your processing. Good strong vibrant colours, great composition and removal of distracting
un-necessary elements. Congratulations on a great job.   Posted: 04/20/2025 23:00:30

An interesting treatment that has really brought out the textures and colours in the image. I guess that the image is probably not going in a nature competition, so I would suggest removing some of the dirt on the mushrooms - there's not much there, but a few dabs with the new Photoshop remove tool would present the mushrooms at their very best. I also think a crop top and bottom would emphasise your main subject a little more. Those are only minor suggestions, overall I think the processing has produced an interesting, slightly grungy take on the mushrooms.   Posted: 04/21/2025 10:07:09
