About the Image(s)
Another drone shot in the Highland of Iceland. Stunning, unique landscapes of great variety and color. Different at every stop. Shot from a DJI Mavic 3 Pro which has a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera. 1/320, f6.3, ISO 100.

I know that there is an area of colourful mountains in Iceland called Landmannalaugar (I had to cut/paste the spelling!) Is this from that area? The drone provides an elevated view along the ridge, so the path acts as a lead-in. Good saturation (maybe slightly too much - or is that how it was?) and a nice bit of texture in the sky. Well done.

Yes, it's Landmannalaugar. You can see the camp site in the upper left. I'll dial down the saturation. A lot of work on the original for sure.   Posted: 11/11/2024 13:15:49

Really enjoy your travel images, Sanford. Using a drone gives one such a perspective especially in the curvatures and folds of the terrain. The colors in the mountains are beautiful and eye-appealing. The curving line of the path mimics the curving path of the waterway down in the valley. Well done, Sanford.   Posted: 11/18/2024 00:29:20
