About the Image(s)
Inspired by Melissa’s image from last month prompted me to revisit a series of images I did of a mosque some years ago. I have entitled it : "Arches within Arches”. The color rendition is good, but the B&W conversion (PS) emphasizes the beautiful geometry and tonal range of this interior image. Comments please. Hi Ed - OOOh - I really love this one. Those striped arches lead the eye all over the frame, so the viewer does not miss a thing. The contrasts are so wonderfully vivid, and each detail shows up perfctly. Best Ever !! -Melissa   Posted: 07/11/2025 20:00:14
Thanks Melissa!
Just back from Newfoundland so forgive my tardiness in responding. Yes, your previous arches reminded me of this shoot and as you have commented, arches within arches simply takes the eye round and round within the image...   Posted: 07/15/2025 12:28:16
