About the Image(s)
This was taken at Parksville during their Sand Sculpture Competition a couple of years ago. I used a bridge camera and lost the original colour photo, will look on one other external drive so may still have it. What caught my attention was the expressions on the two faces which seem to be in opposition to each other, this was converted to mono in tonality, ISO 200 at 58mm, f4, and 1/160.

OMG Ed - this is the funniest thing I have seen in weeks!!! I think this would lose the effect in color - it is WONDERFUL! And photographically, it is great too. I like the lack of shadows because it makes all the sand look homogenous. Great shot - I wish it were mine!   Posted: 01/04/2025 18:38:50

Hey Ed, what a great image! I had to look twice if not more to realize the sand sculpture. Definitely B&W is better choice. Big grin here! Maybe darken/fix that triangle next to the male's head as that is the brightest part of image...More humor please!   Posted: 01/12/2025 11:32:46

Creative subjects make fabulous images and this is a true example of that.   Posted: 01/16/2025 16:20:24
