About the Image(s)
The image was taken at Nelson Ghost town outside las vegas. I loved the place and the character of the vehicles. The image was taken on a 24-70 f2.8 lens on a Nikon D750. I used a polarizer for the sky as it was cloudless.

Hi Trevor; This image in BW stands out much better than the colour version. i think the vehicle pops of the screen and away from the background. I did a bit of lightening in lightroom of the background and think it enhances the vehicle against the background. Posted: 12/03/2024 13:45:29

Hi Trevor. Great car shot. I like the crispness of the detail on the auto, and yes, it looks much more interesting as a mono. I don't think the contrasts, etc. should be changed, but I am uncomfortable by the starkness of the black sky - I just feel it is SO heavy that is pulls the eye up there a little. If a sky that dark is going to be used, there should still be some detail on the inside of the cab through that side window. Posted: 12/11/2024 18:17:44
