This is a photo of Two-Medicine Lake in Glacier Nat’l Park. The massive pyramid-like peak on the right is Rising Wolf Mountain, one of the most recognizable formations in Glacier. The distant peak under the rainbow matches Sinopah Mountain, which sits at the head of Two Medicine Lake. The dense evergreen forest along the left shoreline is characteristic of the area. The broad, calm lake with mountain reflections is classic Two Medicine??”less crowded than many Glacier but equally dramatic. Getting the rainbow’s arc between Rising Wolf and Sinopah was a bit serendipitous.
