This photo was taken from the highlands in Marin County, looking toward the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. It’s a series of 7 images stitched together. The photo was taken with a Canon 6D MKII and Canon 70-200mm lens at 93mm, F10, ISO160 and 4.0 second exposures then stitched and post processed in Lightroom.

This is our month of Grand Scenes for sure! I loved visit SF and always made sure I had time visit the Park and cross the bridge. Was this taken at dusk? The lights of the area sparkle and draw your eye into the image. Then make you examine the image in detail. Very nice! Hoping the fires have not impacted you.....Stay safe! If I lived close by I'd go back again and again and shoot this scene 7 ways from Sunday. Your placement of the city off center was a good choice, having said that, had you taken a step or two your right, you could have avoided the merger between the tower on the GG Bridge and whatever bright light source is just to the right of it and still kept an interesting relationship between the GG Bridge and the light of SFO - your technical work was outstanding, nice job Posted: 11/27/2024 03:52:31
