We were on a cruise on Frenchman’s Bay, Bar Harbor, Maine and this image was taken out on the water quite a distance from the large sailing vessel. I liked the evening light on the sails on this seascape.
Shot with a Nikon D800, Speed 1/640th of a sec, Focal Length 500mm, F/10, Lens was an Nikkor 200-500mm.

Tom, this is a very nice image. The sail is perfectly lit by the golden hour light and stands out from the background.
It is also placed perfectly accordingly to the rule of third.The image is very sharp and conveys well the feeling of a late afternoon on a boat.
It looks it was very crowded.. hopefully on your ship there was less crowd (-:
