This is a beautiful setting. Since our eyes are attracted to the brightest object in a scene, I find the bright sunlight at the top of the image takes my attention away from the gorgeous golden colors of the river. I also feel that there is too much clutter on either side. I suggest cropping out the top portion of the image to remove the bright sunlight and cropping in a bit from both sides. This will focus our attention on the most powerful part of your shot which is the lovely river, its golden colors and all the interesting architecture and bridges along its path.   Posted: 11/06/2024 13:25:26

Unique view of Florence, and very interesting at this time of day.
Compositionally, I only suggest taking out the crane at the top center and the three cranes at the right. I think the bridge on the left can stay. On the other hand, you can let it stand as is as a record shot of how the city looks now.   Posted: 11/12/2024 19:33:05

John, gorgeous cityscape. Sky, buildings, foreground trees create a frame that pulls you right into the S turn river. The river is slightly bright but it helps the image to pop. I did get rid of the cranes and also a half steeple of a church that was cut off on the left that were distracting.   Posted: 11/19/2024 00:39:31
