Hi Kathryn, Like you, I'm very attracted to the light at this angle and time of day! It really sets off the white lighthouse against the darker woods behind. I'm wondering if the edges were cropped just a bit, if it would emphasize the lighthouse more and give it more of a commanding presence in the image. I tried that with the attached image. I love it. The lighthouse is lit with a subtle orange hour tint. I found this image so serene and peaceful - very relaxing. Nice tonal palette.
