About the Image(s)
This is an image of some of the beautiful sedimentary strata that appear in the cliffs and outcroppings in the area around Abiquiu, New Mexico. I was able to get a shot of a stone outcropping that slopes up one direction in front of a lovely limestone outcropping that slopes up the other direction, which made a nice contrast. I'm including my original shot which appeared a little dark along with my revised image which I've cropped and brightened just a bit to make it look more natural the way I remember it. The landscape in northern New Mexico is really dramatic and keeps drawing me back again and again. I took this handheld with my Fuji XT-2, 10-24mm lens at 14mm, f/11, 1/200th sec, at 1SO 100. I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions. I've called this picture "Layers of Abiquiu" for obvious reasons.
