Taken with Nikon Z8, ISO 2000, 1/1000 sec at f 5, 70mm focal length. Fast for whales. There were humpbacks all over in this area, breaching, bubble netting and blowing air and I wanted to get the background setting, with the clouds and lushness of the wilderness there. This is in coastal British Columbia. We went to photograph the 'Spirit Bears' which are only found in that area.
