About the Image(s)

This is a view, in late Winter, of the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge located in Western New York. Multiple birds are migrating through this area at that time of the year including Tundra Swans, Northern Pintails, Northern Shovelers, Green Teals, Greater Scaups, Wigeons, etc....

Equipment: Canon EOS R5, Canon EF 24-105 mm lens, Canon EF to RF adaptor, Hand held

Setup: ISO 400, 1/800 sec, f/13, 105 mm, EV 0

Slight cropping and global light adjustments using ON1 Photo Raw 2025

As usual for my landscape photography, I capture 5 bracketed images at 1 stop intervals and select the best light compromise using a single image. If the light contrast is too significant, I would combine some images to achieve the best results.
