Hi Pierre- that's a magnificent old fort- a really imposing structure overlooking the lake. My first impression is that it almost seemed to be floating in the air, since the water and sky are almost the same color and it's hard to see the horizon between the two. I tried using Dehaze in camera raw to provide a little more contrast between sky and lake and added some vignette to put more focus on the main building. See what you think.   Posted: 03/05/2025 08:51:19

Hi Kirk,
Thanks for your constructive comments. I like the suggestion of dehazing, but maybe not as strongly applied.   Posted: 03/05/2025 12:39:34

Hi Pierre. Nice capture, nice composition. I agree with Kirk suggestion to dehaze 'a bit' (but not too much) to make it more vivid and pop. This is more of personal taste. Keep sharing your nice shots with us Pierre.   Posted: 03/16/2025 23:15:49

Good one Pierre, I agree although it is a good pic the treatment by Kirk has really made it pop of the page. Well done.   Posted: 03/21/2025 22:55:34

I agree with everyone I do like the pop in color on the suggested photo. Although agree maybe not as strong. Great shot.   Posted: 03/26/2025 02:28:16
