About the Image(s)

Canon EOS R6, 1/60 sec at f/8.0, ISO 250. EF lens 24-105 mm @ 24 mm f/4 L IS USM.

I arrived at the location around 6:50 PM. The sun was almost fully disappeared below the horizon but the sky was flat and white. Many visitors were still around. Of course, I could not chase them away from my frame. I have to shot handheld. The situation is far from being ideal for serious photographer. As a result I how to do intensive post process to get the image as I envisaged. I know it's far from being ideal. That's why I am expecting to get your comments and suggestions.

Hi Frans,
Another great demonstration of the power of editing.
I realized that you removed some of the observers on the right side of the frame (by cropping and erasing), but kept the one in the middle and one on the right side.
I loved the one right in front of you (perspective), but not the one on the right.
I took the liberty of "tweaking" your image by slightly increasing the saturation, and decreasing the highlights + shadows. All minor suggestions.   Posted: 01/05/2025 17:12:22

HI Frans, What a beautiful photo of a beautiful spot at a beautiful time of day! Wish I could have been there with you! I agree with all of Frans' comments and suggestions, and would only add that a bit more contrast and saturation (in addition to what Frans did) would probably give it a little more "pop". I tried that and here's what it looks like.   Posted: 01/06/2025 01:08:03

Hi Kirk, Thanks for your good words and enhancement. It does make it more 'pop'.   Posted: 01/06/2025 22:15:19

A great pic and bringing out the growth in front has sure added to the pic well done. We have been to Japan three times an not yet had a clear shot of Mt Fuji. Lucky you   Posted: 01/06/2025 05:04:26

After being totally fogged out when we were there, I'm very jealous. Love the image   Posted: 01/20/2025 15:04:49
