About the Image(s)
Canon EOS R6. 1/160 sec at f/5.0, ISO 100. EF lens 24-105 f/4 LIS USM at 32 mm.
I was in Ninh Binh Vietnam. One day before Typhoon Yagi strike almost the whole island last month. We were so lucky. No one get hurt. But it was a scary experience. The situation in Ninh Binh was gloomy, flat and boring. I replace the sky and boost the whole contrast. I started to see black clip among the dark. So I add one additional layer just to partially lighten the shadow a bit.

Frans, thanks for showing the before and after images: great job of bringing out the colors and creating a mood. With the boaters against those vertical walls, it really tells a story. I love it. No suggestions.   Posted: 11/05/2024 11:23:43

Hi Frans,
You did it again - showing the transition between a good image to a great one.
Nice sky swapping and touch-up on the water reflection to keep it realistic.
Great demonstration - great image. No suggestion for improvement.   Posted: 11/15/2024 21:37:09

You sure get around Frans, another great shot and well processed. Lighting colours activity on the water, reflections all worked well.   Posted: 11/17/2024 01:59:19

Yes, this sky works much better and I'm glad to straightened out the horizon. A great shot and the contrast does enhance it nicely.   Posted: 11/17/2024 18:24:20
