About the Image(s)
For this month I am submitting a photo of an orange flower that I photographed using my iphone 13 pro similar to the photo I submitted last month. This month I wanted to try and capture the same energy as the last submission. I took the photo around 2 pm at the chicago botanic garden so the light was directly overhead. For editing I first introduced a tighter crop followed by minor adjustments to color, vibrancy and lighting. I then followed this with the ai removal tool to remove the upper three flowers. Then if you look at the original photo there was a dirt patch directly to the left of the flower that I tried to remove with ai but the leafs it inserted seemed unrealistic to me so i applied a local mask and then adjusted the coloring of the dirt and increasing the orange and yellow of the dirt to make it less distracting. I would love to hear any comments on the dirt as I can't tell if making it green actually helped hide it or in some way emboldened it.

Overall I think your edits improved the attention to the central flower and removed distractions. I like the orientation of the flower. Maybe your Iphone increased the saturation a bit too much.   Posted: 08/03/2026 16:56:55
Well done. I agree with the comments above.
Your improvement in capturing and editing your images is fantastic. You should review your previous images.
