About the Image(s)
This picture was taken recently at the botanical gardens in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I admit that the angle was not ideal, but I liked the concentric rings created in the water. The back bird is not completely sharp even at f11 and the use of Topaz AI sharpener. I'm interested to see what you all think.
Sony A7 180mm. ISO 2000, f11, 1/320secs Aperture Priority. Hand held. Original is included and as you can see I did not do too much in post.

Mervyn,
I think the angle is fine; much lower and you would have to get in the water.
I like the vivid colorand lighting of these ducks and their converging paths, as well as the concentric ripples and bubbles in the water.   Posted: 07/06/2026 14:51:19

I do like your editing.
I know what you wanted the water ripples to a feature, I do feel that I would like a little more space above the back duck's head   Posted: 07/08/2026 06:12:53

I agree with Diane. I like the brilliant colors of the ducks and the water. Woodies are just beautiful.   Posted: 07/10/2026 11:21:07
This is a lovely photo. The blue is so vivid and the red in the eyes stand out amazingly. The detail is great, especially in the mouth of the first duck. Is that food in its mouth?
I do feel that the rings help center the ducks in the image. Overall it is a beautiful piece. I do not think I would change anything.
