We arrived at Iguazu Falls, Argentina late on June 1 and this little Great Kiskadee (as well as many kiskadees) woke us up very early, so I took this photo from our Jungle Lodge balcony. This species is described as boisterous. Yes, I agree. He was beautiful and nice enough to pose for me, so all was not lost. I haven't had a chance to review all my photos from the trip, but I'm sure there will be more monthly entries ahead!
In Camera Raw I cropped tight, decreased background noise using a mask, sharpened him, added catch light and a vignette.

Argentina sounds interesting. The yellow chest of this Kiskadee is certainly is outstanding and lovely. I bet he had a nice song. As you know, the upper background is quite bright. Posted: 07/06/2026 14:41:47
