About the Image(s)
I’ve been playing with studio shots so I didn’t get any new nature shots this month.
This is a shot I took from the local bridge at low tide a little while ago on my morning walk.
Shot with my 700D

Diane,
It is almost like a time-lapse. I like the vertical progression of poses from bottom toward the top of the image. I might apply a bit of a vignette to darken the area surrounding the birds.   Posted: 04/06/2026 02:00:30
Thank you. I will have to try a vignette on it.   Posted: 04/18/2026 05:17:49
I like the positions of the birds and the one in the foreground with a lit bill. They are all arranged in different positions, which is great. If possible, a lower vantage point would improve this, but that is not always possible. This is a good shot.   Posted: 04/06/2026 19:36:48
Thank you. It definitely would be interesting to see the angle from under the bridge   Posted: 04/18/2026 05:18:37
This is such an unusual presentation and I love it! Everything is sharp from top to bottom despite your large f stop.
How lucky you are to have wildlife so close to your home.   Posted: 04/14/2026 15:08:04

Thanks Mervyn.   Posted: 04/18/2026 05:19:57
This is a beautiful photo. I think that they make a very nice ensemble and it feels like a more abstract piece to be focused on. I think the only thing I would do is crop a little from the top but I would call that a stylistic choice and not one that would truly help or hinder the photo. I am impressed by the clarity and detail. Well done.   Posted: 04/18/2026 15:50:41
