Title: Red-breasted Mergansers mating behavior

Equipment: Canon EOS R7, Canon RF 200-800 mm lens, Light Monopod

Set-up: ISO 400, 1/640 sec., f/9, EV 0.67, 455 mm (728 mm full frame equivalent).

I was observing the mating behavior of these Red-Breasted Mergansers that were swimming in the Niagara River in early spring.
What guys would do to impress the females… especially if they appear indifferent!
